Eggs from happy Salzburg hens from the small organic farm Höburg of the Gauger family. In contrast to other forms of husbandry, the organic hens have the most space in the barn or outdoors. This allows them to pursue their natural behaviour (scratching, sand bathing and curiosity). The chicken heart has everything it desires and you can taste it too!

The development of the Hotel Brückenwirt into a 4-star hotel in St. Johann im Pongau.
More than 150 years ago, the Brückenwirt inn in St. Johann im Pongau was established as a local inn. In 1933, the grandparents of your hostess Petra Nocker-Schwarzenbacher, who were based in Goldegg, only ten kilometres away, decided to acquire the Brückenwirt and move to St. Johann. At that time, the Brückenwirt also included the small Tennerhof farm. Diligence and hospitality distinguished the owner family. Thus the Brückenwirt quickly developed into a popular venue for balls and weddings. The kitchen regulars' table became a meeting place for the population.
After the disastrous slump caused by the Second World War, the innkeepers at the Brückenwirt were able to take advantage of the economic upswing in the 1950s. At that time, "rooms with running water and central heating" were considered modern achievements. Today, completely different standards are applied. All rooms in the Hotel Brückenwirt have long been equipped with internet access. Today, the Hotel Brückenwirt is a prospering, respectable business that knows how to inspire its guests. At the end of the 1990s, the "Nocker's Fit & Fun" was put into operation. And the country house flats as well as the holiday flats shine in new splendour.
