The Brückenwirt is a family-run and well-known 4-star hotel in St. Johann. The key to this success is an excellent team.
However, our journey continues. We want to increase our quality and grow further in the future. The focus until 2025 is therefore on expansion, in the seminar and incentive area, with heart. Step by step, we are expanding our premises and working on our unique culinary skills. For these goals we need further support.

are part of the year-round core team at Hotel Brückenwirt. During the season, the team is strengthened with additional employees who live and work at the Hotel Brückenwirt for a few months. In this way, profound knowledge and a breath of fresh air complement each other!

You are from the region and don't need a room? We will gladly provide you with a parking space directly at the hotel.
- Perfect connection with the public transport
It is only a 5-minute walk from the train station to the Hotel Brückenwirt and the post bus stop is directly in front of the hotel entrance. In winter there is also a free ski bus here.

- Shopping facilities directly in front of the hotel
Directly in the house there is a pharmacy as well as two general practitioners. You only have to cross the street once and you will find the brand new fashion store Nagl and the nearest Spar is only a 10-minute walk away.

Not in the mood for sausage rolls? Our kitchen team at the Hotel Brückenwirt will be happy to prepare a healthy meal for you when you are on duty. We take, as well as with the guests, also with the staff of course consideration for intolerances or diets!

Facts and figures about the Hotel Brückenwirt
The Hotel Brückenwirt is located in the Untermarkt of the district town of St. Johann im Pongau - province of Salzburg. Next to the Salzach river and not far away from the beautiful mountains of the Tennengebierge. In addition, directly on the Tauern Cycle Path and part of the Snow Space Salzburg. The Brückenwirt is in a good location from which you can recover through sport. What distinguishes us from the location is the excellent infrastructure in all directions in Austria.
- All year operation
On Sundays in late April and early May, as well as in November, we take our Saturday & Sunday rest days. Apart from that, we always close the hotel for a week over All Saints' Day.
- 60 rooms (120 beds) and four holiday apartments

Heated outdoor swimming pool with indoor entry, plus 2 saunas, gym with fitness equipment, whirlpools, solarium and massage room.

Ski bus station right outside the door (only 5 minutes to the ski area)
- In summer
the Geisterberg (Alpendorf) offers a starting point for family hikes. In addition, the Hotel Brückenwirt is located directly on the Tauern Cycle Path - which also moves many cyclists to take a break with us
