More modern, more spacious, even more beautiful
There are lots of exciting developments currently underway at brückenWIRT. Through a comprehensive refurbishment, we are creating more space, greater comfort and an even more enjoyable experience for our guests. Construction work will begin in mid-March, with completion scheduled for mid-July 2026.
Something new is emerging
A new connecting wing is being built between our two buildings, linking them both functionally and visually. As part of this, our restaurant will also be extended and part of the terrace will be made winter-proof. This will give us even more space for enjoyment, socialising and special moments, whatever the weather.

Major development work is also underway in the Tennerhof building. The second floor is being stripped back to the bare structure, the third floor is being refurbished to the same standard as the second floor, and an additional fourth floor is being built on top of that. There will also be a lift in the Tennerhof building leading down to the underground car park, offering even greater convenience within the building.
What remains
The building’s character is to be preserved even during the summer season. The Wednesday events in the Untermarkt are to continue as usual. At the same time, the area will be made more modern, harmonious and attractive than before.
Our aim
Through this refurbishment, we are blending the old with the new. The brückenWIRT will remain a venue with its own unique character, but will offer more space, higher quality and a contemporary look for locals, holidaymakers, restaurant guests and conference attendees.
We are very much looking forward to showing you the new venue from mid-July 2026.
